Visit the first pub on the River Thames...

The Red Lion, Castle Eaton, Wiltshire
Located on the Wiltshire / Gloucestershire border and on the edge of the popular Cotswold Water Park, the Red Lion is reputedly the first pub on the River Thames as it flows from its source near Kemble.
A popular stopping off point for walkers making their way along the Thames Path National Trail between Cricklade and Lechlade, you can sit down and have a pint of beer, soft drink or coffee in the picturesque pub garden that leads down to the river's edge.
The Red Lion also offers bed and breakfast accommodation, excellent food in its Riverside Restaurant, as well as regular events and entertainment.
